Pastor Brian 14/4

*The Israeli leaders are very concerned about September.  It is being called Black September because of the ominous predictions of isolation and persecution of the Jewish state.

*Zechariah’s prophecy of Jerusalem being the cup that makes the world drunk with hatred is coming to pass in our very day.

*1948 is the year prophecy in the modern era ticked up, and this age may be coming to an end real soon.

*I don’t know what September will bring, or if Javier Solana is significant, or if Barack Obama is one preparing the groundwork for great deception.

*I don’t know if the Abomination of Desolation is near.

*I don’t know how long the EU can last leaderless.  The world seems to be falling apart more every day.

I study Scripture different than most.  I challenge my beliefs constantly.  It has caused me to tweak my beliefs several times.  It is studying like this that changed my belief from being pre-tribulation to pre-wrath, my current belief system.  I do the same with Javier Solana.  I read articles not to back my belief system, but to challenge it.  Every time I think I have found a kink in my belief about Solana, something comes up to back it up.  In all of this, it seems we are heading toward the prophetic picture we all have been looking for in our lives.

I don’t know what September will bring.  It could bring the usual autumn in Kentucky.  Beautiful trees turning colors, college football on TV every Saturday, and the expectation of Kentucky Basketball in the Bluegrass state.  Farmers will be busy harvesting corn, soybeans, tobacco, etc.  There are indications this September may be different.  Most people will only see what I stated above, but I am different, you may be different.  We may see something that has been drawn out by God ages ago, and is being done in our lifetime because we are that generation.

The key word in Clinton’s speech below is “postponed”.  The United States did not disagree with the EU’s assessment of Israel, just postpone the inevitable.  The inevitable is a Palestinian state and the isolation of Israel.  It seems President Obama is going to side with the international community to support a Palestinian state.  If this comes to fruition, it will come in September.  The EU needs a leader to push the matter, and it will not be Catherine Ashton.  She is an epic failure as EU Foreign Minister.  If Javier Solana comes up and replaces her in late summer/early autumn, then he may very well be an important figure in prophecy.  It is he who confirmed the Barcelona Treaty in 2007 and it is known today as the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), or also the Barcelona Process of the Mediterranean Union.

The United States is postponing the big push against Israel.  I believe they are waiting for a European leader to take the lead.  Obama is a much better follower than leader.  It is not going to be a leader from a country in the EU, the Bible says so.  It will be the 11th horn, a man out of nowhere that comes out of 10 horns, the 10 nations of the Western European Union.  It will be a man that most people are not familiar with.  So much so, that even the last 42 months prior to Jesus coming back the vast majority of people will be surprised as a thief in the night when Christ comes back.  But those who watch and follow events will be prepared.  Jesus said so.  God does not do anything grand without preparing His children.  Are you prepared?  Are you willing to understand who the man of sin is when he comes so you can prepare your own salvation in Jesus Christ?  The only description that matters is God. Bro. Brian

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

“Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

The Associated Press reported that Britain, France and Germany had drawn up a framework aimed at renewing talks that would address the issue of a final settlement. They hoped the idea would be introduced on the sidelines of a Nato meeting in Berlin to representatives of the Quartet.

Instead, the news agency reported, Washington rejected the idea (for the moment?my words) and postponed the meeting. It quoted an anonymous American diplomat as saying it “wasn’t the right time” for the European initiative.

Palestinians began concentrating their diplomacy in Europe following a US decision in the UN Security Council in February to veto a Palestinian-backed resolution. The measure, which would have condemned Israel’s settlements as illegal, earned the support of the council’s other 14 members

It is not clear when the Quartet will hold its next meeting. Farhan Haq, the UN deputy spokesman, said that “there’s no announcement of a Quartet meeting to make at present”. The last scheduled meeting, in March, was also delayed.

The European talks proposal came as Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, attempts to shield his government from growing international pressure over its pro-settler policies and intransigence on the Palestinian issue.

All EU leadership was missing and soon the guilty one was found: High Representative Baroness Catherine Ashton. Throughout the European capitals, the press, politicians – for instance David Cameron -, and EU parliamentarians from all parties (including ALDE leader Guy Verhofstadt, leader of the Socialists Martin Schultz, and Daniel Cohn-Bendit from The Greens) blamed Ashton’s and the EU’s low-key role. European decision-makers were surprisingly united in their critiques. They all shared the same opinions regarding the lack of a coherent European message and the invisible role of EU Foreign Minister Catherine Ashton.
